This a little poem that a friend from Gonzaga sent me. I really like it. Something to always keep in mind. I hope you enjoy!
Hope is only true when life feels hopeless
And virtue only shines when times are dim
A mountain has no height without a valley
I turn to face the waves and wait for Him.
And toward the East I fix my eyes
Praying for the sun to rise
Dark evening of the second day
And on the third, my gaze will stay
And standing in the waves so cold
I watch Him rising pure as gold
Ground up dreams reflect His rays
And deep within my heart He stays

It reminds me of Dolly Parton.
